Never Too Late Overview

Never Too Late synthesizes neuroscience and psychology research to encourage people, organizations, and communities to prioritize brain health and mental strength. This practice, where academics make their research accessible to the public, is discussed in Going Public: A Guide for Social Scientists (University of Chicago Press, 2017). This newsletter represents my continued efforts to stay abreast of neuroscience and psychology research, as well as provide an ongoing connection to folks who have heard me speak, found me on LinkedIn, purchased my book, or who discover me on Substack.

I have been publishing a free newsletter for five years, and in 2025 I am expanding to Substack to move beyond a one-way communication into community building. My mission is to inspire cognitively healthier professionals, women, and children, and policy changes that improve individual, community, and organizational well-being.
